     When most of us put tags on our dogs with our phone numbers the number we use if we are still using a home phone in this day of cellular everywhere is our home phone number. However if you are travelling you may want to reconsider that. You need to get your dog a new collar tag with your cell phone number on it. That way should your dog get lost out on your trip somewhere the lucky people to find her aren't calling your house a couple of states away. Crate Training is Great for Traveling Doggies

     One of the great things about crate training your dogs is that once it's done whenever you go on a trip you can take his safe place with you. So, you have a place for him to feel at home whether you are camping in the woods or even in a five star hotel. It doesn't matter because to doggy his Dog Crate          is his domain and he's happy to stay there and sleep there during the night. You just have to keep up your end of the bargain and take him out at your regular intervals to go potty. He may like all the new sights and sounds or he may not and may just be content and happy to spend time in his crate. That's why I prefer to travel with a crate trained dog than one that is not. Another thing is when you leave the house everything for your dog can go inside the crate his favorite chew toy and his blanket that way nothing important for your dogs happiness on your trip gets left at home.
